Vibrant Gujarat shifts focus to Small Businesses

Over 4,000 small and medium companies attended the recent 2009 Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit (VGGIS) that offered classes and seminars for India’s growing entrepreneurial population.

At the event, the Gujarat government announced the adoption of a Dual Development Model, under which it will promote small business to provide India’s small and medium enterprises with global exposure. The government plans to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Italian government to jumpstart the campaign and further small business development.
